Standards and Ethics

Cleveland Fire Authority Members have to abide by a code of conduct  which requires them to register any interests, gifts or hospitality which they have received which could influence any decisions they make as Authority members. In addition, they are required to declare any interests at meetings.

On 7 June 2013, Members agreed a new Code of Conduct in compliance with the Localism Act 2011, and completed an updated Register of Members’ Disclosable Interests.

We no longer have a Standards Committee and this function is now incorporated in the Terms of Reference of the Audit & Governance Committee.

To view the Register of Members’ Disclosable Interests select the relevant Member from the list of 16 Elected Members.
