Tackling Arson Together

Cleveland Fire Brigade is launching a campaign to tackle arson as the estimated costs to the local economy reached nearly £18m in 2018/19. 85% of fire calls to the Brigade are deliberate fires and they divert resources away from other emergencies and prevention activities. Setting the Safeguarding Standards

Cleveland Fire Brigade has been given top rating for their safeguarding standards. It comes with the Brigade getting an excellent rating following an independent audit by the Teeswide Adult Safeguarding Board (TSAB) where four areas of ‘best practice’ and a further two areas of ‘good practice’ were highlighted by the independent board.
