Dementia Action Week 20-26 May A fire station community room set aside for regular use by a Teesside dementia group has been hailed a huge success. Teesside Dementia Link Services (TDLS) hold regular meetings at Thornaby Community Fire Station and have already helped some 500 dementia sufferers and their cares. It’s official: Cleveland safest place to live for home fires

Latest figures show that Cleveland Fire Brigade has for the second year in a row reduced the number of fires in the home across Cleveland – maintaining the Brigade’s poll position as the best fire service in the UK at keeping people safe in their homes.
