Cleveland Fire Brigade attends a wide range of emergencies e.g. fires, road traffic collisions, water rescue and rescues from height.

Fire Brigade attended a reported flat fire in Hartlepool after a neighbour had been alerted by the sound of smoke detectors.

Fire Brigade crews rescued one occupant from the smoke filled flat. They were then assisted by the ambulance service.

2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire. PPV was then used to ventilate the property.

Road Traffic Collision involving 2 cars. Two casualties given first aid by fire brigade and transported to hospital via ambulance.

1 Vehicle collided with two houses on Wilson Street Brotton, Saltburn. Vehicle occupants made off from scene. No persons injured. Small amount of damage to external windows of property. No other structural damage. Vehicle handed over to police.

Minor burns to hand of  occupant (refused fire brigade treatment)

House fire, 100% damage to kitchen by fire, heat and smoke. Smoke damage to bathroom and front room. Crew gave oxygen to 1 casualty who was taken to hospital by ambulance. 1 jet, 3 breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation fan used.
