Update on derelict Odeon building in Hartlepool

Cleveland Fire Brigade were called at 22:49 on Saturday 5th October to a large fire at the derelict Odeon building in Hartlepool. At its peak, eight fire engines were in attendance, with crews from Billingham, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Saltburn, and Stockton. Police closed surrounding roads, and nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution.
