Consultation NOW OPEN: Monday 15th September – Sunday 7th December 2025
Help shape the future of your local fire service
We’ve now launched our statutory 12-week public consultation on Cleveland Fire Brigade’s Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) 2026–2030.
This draft plan has been developed using feedback from residents, staff, partners, and other stakeholders during our earlier pre-consultation. It sets out our priorities for how we will continue to identify, prevent, and respond to risks in our communities – and we want to hear your views before it is finalised.

Why your views matter
The risks facing our communities are constantly changing, and the way we deliver our services must evolve with them. We’re committed not only to responding when emergencies happen, but also to preventing incidents through education, safety initiatives, and community resilience.
Your input will help us make informed decisions about where to focus our resources, how we train and equip our staff, and how we work with communities and partners to keep Teesside safe.
By taking part, you’ll help shape a fire service that reflects the priorities and needs of the people we serve.
What this consultation will do
• Gather views from residents, businesses, staff, partners, elected members, and stakeholders.
• Test and refine the draft priorities for 2026–2030.
• Ensure our final plan reflects the needs and expectations of our diverse communities.
At the end of the consultation, we will publish a summary of the feedback received and show how it has been used to shape the final CRMP.
