| Macaulay Road | Fire Brigade attended a reported flat fire in Hartlepool after a neighbour had been alerted by the sound of smoke detectors. Fire Brigade crews rescued one occupant from the smoke filled flat. They were then assisted by the ambulance service. 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire.
