Cleveland Fire Brigade attends a wide range of emergencies e.g. fires, road traffic collisions, water rescue and rescues from height.

The table below provides information on the most recent incidents that may be of interest, this is not a list of all incidents attended. When incidents are of a sensitive nature, or to protect people’s privacy, it may not be appropriate to include incident information.

On Wednesday 7th May 2025 at 21:29 hours Cleveland Fire Brigade were called to a report of a derelict church on fire on Cheetham Street, Grangetown. 4 fire appliances attended the fire from Middlesbrough, Grangetown and Thornaby Fire Stations. 2 x 45mm jets in use. 100% fire damage.
