Incidents

Cleveland Fire Brigade attends a wide range of emergencies e.g. fires, road traffic collisions, water rescue and rescues from height.

The table below provides information on the most recent incidents that may be of interest, this is not a list of all incidents attended. When incidents are of a sensitive nature, or to protect people’s privacy, it may not be appropriate to include incident information.

05/11/2025 18:09	05/11/2025 20:51	Property Fire	Knole Road, Low Grange, Billingham	House Fire - 5 fire appliances were in attendance and one Aerial Ladder Platform from DDFRS assisted at the incident. 3 jets and four breathing apparatus were used. Two houses had 75% fire damage to roof and 25% fire damage to roof space ceilings; one house 50% fire damage to roof. 29/10/2025 19:34	29/10/2025 19:54	Road traffic collision	The Derby, Marton Manor, Middlesbrough	Cleveland fire brigade attended a road traffic collision at the above address, where one appliance had flipped onto its roof. One trapped person was rescued from the vehicle by the fire brigade, before being transported to hospital via ambulance..	2	Middlesbrough, Thornaby
07/10/2025 15:02	07/10/2025 16:19	Property Fire	Dormans Crescent, Dormanstown, Redcar	House fire, 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel, 2 thermal image cameras and positive pressure ventilation were used to extinguish the fire. 1 casualty given first aid by Fire Brigade until arrival of Ambulance. Damage details, 80% heat and smoke damage to front room, 50% smoke damage to remainder of property. 14/09/2025 12:45	14/09/2025 13:45	Property Fire	The Green, Norton, Stockton	House fire, persons reported. 1 casualty rescued from property by Fire Brigade and in care of NEAS. 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and positive pressure ventilation were used to extinguish the fire. 20% fire and 50% smoke damage to ground floor of the property.
