Cleveland Fire Brigade is pleased to announce the introduction of its new modular Foam Cannon system, designed to support the Service’s response to large‑scale industrial fires and hazardous material incidents.

The Foam Cannon system consists of two integrated hook‑lift pod units designed for rapid deployment on industrial sites.

Key features include:

Foam Proportioner Pod

  • The primary pod houses the FireDos 15000/3‑S foam proportioner, capable of supplying up to 15,000 litres of finished foam per minute, enabling crews to deliver large volumes of firefighting foam efficiently during large‑scale industrial incidents.

Monitor Pod with High‑Volume Delivery

  • The detachable secondary pod carries the FireDos M7 monitor and 6‑inch lay‑flat hose, supporting water flows of up to 24,000 litres per minute.

The monitor provides:

  • Throw height: over 80 metres
  • Throw distance: over 100 metres

It can be used alongside the foam proportioner or independently for water‑only delivery.

Flexible Deployment for Industrial Risk

This dual‑pod configuration offers a versatile firefighting solution suited to industrial sites, petrochemical facilities, storage depots and other high‑risk environments where large‑scale firefighting capability may be required.

Investing in specialist resources such as the Foam Cannon system strengthens the Service’s ability to respond effectively to high-risk, large-scale incidents, helping to protect communities, critical infrastructure and the environment.
