Work closely with Middlesbrough Borough Council (MBC). The watches identify properties that require boarding up and rubbish that requires removal. MBC are contacted who either do the boarding up/removal or arrange to have it done.
Do specific fire safety inspections of commercial premises to ensure that fire safety features such as fire exits are being maintained.
Visit premises that have excessive numbers of automatic fire alarm calls [AFA's] and offer advice on how to reduce the number of calls received.
