About Hartlepool District
The local authority area of Hartlepool Borough council is covered by two fire stations at Stranton and Headland. These two fire stations make up the Hartlepool District.
Hartlepool District Manager Dave Turton is responsible for all fire brigade operational and business activity within the district.
The main aim of the district's work is to ensure that every resident receives a home fire safety visit and has working smoke alarms. It is also heavily involved in partnership working to reduce arson and antisocial behaviour in the Borough.
The district is made up of the Foggy Furze, Throston, Stranton, St Hilda, Seaton Rossmere, Rift House, Park, Owton, Hart, Greatham, Grange, Fens, Elwick, Dyke House, Burn Valley, and Brus wards.
