INSPIRE Programme

If you are aged 15-29 years, live in Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland or Stockton-On-Tees and are not currently in education, employment, training or learning then you could take part in our INSPIRE programme.

Our INSPIRE programme is part of the Youth Employment Initiative Tees Valley Pathway Programme. Over six weeks, participants will work towards gaining a BTEC in Fire and Rescue Services in the Community and certificates in Emergency First Aid and Fire Awareness. Participants will also take part in employability sessions which cover CV writing, job searching and advice on applying for jobs and interviews and be given one-to-one support. There is an opportunity to attend a two-night residential taking part in outward bound/outdoor activities.

The Tees Valley Pathways Programme has supported over 8,000 individuals and has an excellent success rate in helping young people move into Employment, Education, Apprenticeships and Further Training.

The programme is delivered by a consortium of organisations from the Public, Private and Voluntary Sector. The overall contract value is £25.38m with £9.52m from European Social Fund, £9.52m from Youth Employment Initiative and £6.34 of Match Funding. It is part-funded by the European Social Fund and supported under the Youth Employment Initiative.
