NORTH EAST REGIONAL MANAGEMENT BOARD
The NE Regional Management Board (RMB) comprising of the 4 North East Fire Authorities of Cleveland, Durham and Darlington, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear was established on 1 January 2004. There are 16 Elected Members on the Board, with 4 politically proportioned Member representatives from each Authority. The Chair and Vice Chair are elected on a rotational basis for a 2 year period. The current Chair is Councillor C Magee from Durham and Darlington Fire Authority and the Vice Chair is Councillor Mrs B Forster from Cleveland Fire Authority.
The RMB work collectively on three work streams:-
1. Resilience (incuding Firelink, FiReControl and New Dimension projects)
2. Human Resoureces (including Training)
3. Procurement
