Cleveland Fire Authority

Cleveland Fire Authority (CFA)  is a combined Fire Authority, comprising of 16 Elected Members from the four borough councils of Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees. The Authority has a statutory responsibility for the provision of fire and rescue services across Cleveland.

It is responsible for setting the strategic direction, policies and priorities of the Brigade. In doing so it aims to take into account the views of our stakeholders and keep them fully informed of Fire Authority plans.

Fire Authority meetings are normally held at Cleveland Fire Brigade, Training & Administration Hub. Members of the public and the press are welcome to attend, but may occasionally be excluded when confidential information is discussed.
