Half Day Fire Marshall – (min 8 max 15)
Course designed to explain the responsibilities and duties of a Fire Marshall
 
Half Day Fire Awareness – (min 8 max 15)
Course teaches a basic level of competency, ensures delegates will be confident to take necessary action in the event of reacting to the fire alarm and discovering a fire.
 
Two Hour Fire Extinguisher Course
The course provides delegates with basic extinguisher training.  Delegates are given theoretical input and a practical session in the use of a variety of fire extinguishers under controlled, realistic conditions.
 
Half Day Emergency Aid/First Aid – (min 8 max 15)
Course is for the 'appointed person' and provides essential knowledge and skills to take charge at scene of an accident and to provide emergency first aid in the absence of a fully qualified first aider
 
Four Day First  Aid at Work – (min 8 mini 15)
Course is delivered in line with the HSE (First Aid) 1981 Regulations and addresses the need for competent first aiders in the workplace.
 
Two Day First Aid at Work Re-certification – (min 8 max 15)
The course is for those who need to renew and update their statutory, current First Aid at Work Certificate.
 
Half Day AED –Automated External Defibrillator – (min 8 max 12)
Delegates wishing to learn how to perform basic life support and use an automated external defibrillator.  Those attending will learn the theory and practical applications of using an AED.
 
Three Day Basic Trauma Life Support – (min 8 max 12)
The course is designed to give delegates the necessary knowledge and skills to enable rapid assessment, resuscitation, stabilisation and transportation of trauma patients.
 
Half Day Manual Handling – (min 8 max 12)
This level one qualification is aimed at those who carry out manual handling at work, introducing candidates to the risks of manual handling and the controls available.
 
Half Day Steps and ladder safety - (min 8 max 15)
The course is tailored to the needs of anyone who uses, supervises or manages the use of ladders and step ladders.
 
Five Day Rope access operators - (8 delegates per course)
The course is tailored to the needs of employees working at height.  Training will ensure delegates have the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding when working at height.
  
Half Day Airway & Oxygen Therapy – (min 8 max 15)
This course teaches the use of oxygen in a first aid setting to assist patients with low blood oxygen levels, using different techniques and equipment to demonstrate life saving skills.
 
One day CIEH (New) level 2 Award in Food safety in Catering – (min 8 max 12)
This qualification replaces the CIEH foundation certificate in food hygiene.  The course is suitable for anyone working in a catering or hospitality setting where food is prepared, cooked and server.
 
Moving & Handling People Course Profile (Half Day)
                                                                       
Participants will gain: -
 
Knowledge of functional anatomy, biomechanics and ergonomics, giving participants an understanding of postural and manual handling stresses, and how to avoid them
 
An understanding of the current legislation and its implications for reducing injury and potential litigation in your organisation
 
Knowledge and experience in the management of risk reduction strategies through the risk assessment process
 
Practical experience in identifying many safer manual handling techniques, enabling participants to support their colleagues in reducing manual handling risks
 
Experience and knowledge of using a wide range of small handling equipment, slings and hoists, enabling current equipment to be used effectively and ensuring that any new purchases are cost effective and appropriate
 
Practice in dealing with the problems of the fallen client and the formulation of safer individual policies to deal with this common situation
