Chip Pan Unit
Cleveland Fire Brigade has at its disposal two mobile chip pan fire display units. These units are used at schools, colleges, shows, and cultural events throughout the year to demonstrate to members of the public the dangers of cooking with oil,and the precautions to take.
The image on the right illustrates what can happen to an unattended pan that has too much oil.
