Ceremony marks 20 years’ service for Cleveland Fire Brigade staff

Fire1D4_2959A ceremony has taken place to recognise staff who have completed more than 20 years’ service within Cleveland Fire Brigade.

The 2015 presentation of the Long Service and Good Conduct Medals and Awards took place at the new Middlesbrough Community Fire Station.

Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant Barry Dodd CBE, Chair of Cleveland Fire Authority, Councillor Jan Brunton and Chief Fire Officer Ian Hayton presented the medals and awards in a ceremony attended by family, Brigade staff, members of Cleveland Fire Authority and local councillors.

Chief Fire Officer Ian Hayton said: “I’m delighted to take the opportunity to recognise staff that have served with Cleveland Fire Brigade for more than 20 years. Cleveland Fire Brigade is immensely proud of its staff who work tirelessly to make a difference in our communities. I congratulate each one of them in achieving this milestone.”
