Coulby Newham Fire Station Family Fun Day

Frankie, age 2, at last years open day

Young people, their families and members of the general public are being invited to come to our family fun day at Coulby Newham Fire Station, Bickley Way, Coulby Newham on Saturday 11 August.

The aim of the day is to help strengthen the already good relations with residents and showcase some of the work Cleveland Fire Brigade undertakes throughout the area.

The community event will take place between 11.00am and 3.00pm and will have activities including chip pan demonstrations, road traffic collision display, basic first aid demonstrations, a barbecue, tombola, raffle, games and much more. Children will also have the opportunity to have a go on the fire engines and meet their local Firefighters.

Station Manager Steve Johnson said: “We are opening the doors at Coulby Newham Station on another years’ Station Open day, everyone is most welcome to come along and support the day where they will get chance to meet all their local firefighters.

Our previous open days have been a great success and offer a great day out for families and residents alike, and it is all free! There will be lots of fun activities and displays for everyone to join in so please come along and see us.”
