Members of the public can expect to see a change in the way their local firefighters and other Brigade staff look due to a new uniform.
From Monday 23 April, both operational and non-operational staff at Cleveland Fire Brigade will be wearing their new uniform as they are out in our local communities delivering services.
Ian Hayton, Chief Fire Officer said “Staff at the Brigade are proud and passionate about what we do and the services we deliver to make a positive difference to every local citizen’s safety and quality of life. Our new uniform is a key element to the future vision of the Brigade and with our investments into community fire stations across the area, we will continue as always to provide a professional and efficient modern fire and rescue service to all our communities.
“The public can expect to see our staff carrying out their day-to-day duties in a navy shirt with Cleveland Fire Brigade and our logo clearly marked with a red t-shirt underneath and navy trousers. All staff will continue to carry identity badges so they can be formerly identified.”
